THE ULTIMATE RULEBOOK

Hello dear. The title says it all. YES you do need to read them. I realize it is a boring business, but it’s for the best, honest. Make sure to understand everything and not break any rules or the Admins will be forced to take action. The codeword is hidden in these rules, they are underlined and bolded. Just stick 'em together in order and put them somewhere in your application. Without it you will be denied.

REPORTING FOR DUTY

• If you plan to create an account and not even bother to create a profile, you might as well leave now. This board is not a place to visit only when you feel bored.
  
  
• By submitting a profile, members are committing themselves to the board. If you remain inactive without posting in the absence board, you're account could be deleted!
  
  
• If you need to leave for a period of time, post in the appropriate catagory or inform one of the Admins.

CREATING NEW LIFEFORMS
character applications

Applying

• The application form needs to be filled it out CORRECTLY and with care. This means MINIMUM two paragraphs appearances, three paragraphs personality, and four paragraphs history. Easy as two three four! Well, it is two three four.
  
  
• If you do not use the code given, the application will be denied, and you will be asked to include the codeword.
  
  
• If a staff member tells you something is wrong with the application, please fix it and do not argue. By doing that you will most likely end up having to wait longer for an acceptance.
  
  
• Once the application has been submitted, please do not send messages to the admins about acceptance. Like you, we have real life to attend to so be patient and wait at least 48 hrs before bumping an app. That's right, bumping. We don't want to be PMed or asked on CBox.

Characters

• No one is perfect, therefore perfect characters are not allowed. Your character may have good qualities, but that doesn't mean they never make mistakes. Make sure there's that something that sets your character apart from the rest. Mary Sues and Gary Stus will be denied.
  
  
• Pregnancies happen... but please we cannot have every female on the board expecting.
  
  
• The above also applies for suicides and crazies; please be realistic.
  
  
• When it comes to the face claim, you can use anyone. Yourself, your friend, a celebrity, for goodness sakes you can use Oprah. Although, faceclaiming friends without permission and unknown (nameless; can't find the name) people is forbidden. We will need your friend to email us saying it is okay. You can email Aileen or Sarella at the admin email, [e-mail]

Roleplaying

• All levels of experience are accepted, as long as the person in question can post at least one decent paragraph.
  
  
• One line posters are NOT tolerated.
  
  
• You may post in first, second, or third person. We also came up with another way of posting, called fourth person. This is where you can post from the view of an NPC, like a stranger in the background. Example: The person is talking to the little girl, and I hear her ask, "What is your name?"
  
  
• When you're character is speaking use quotation marks (" ") please.
  
  
• Godmodding is FORBIDDEN
  
  
• Completely OOC posts should be AVOIDED in Roleplay.
  
  
• Creativity and originality are encouraged, especially when it comes to coding which makes posts look more attractive.

Rating

• Proboards is strictly PG 13
  
  
• Mature content is FORBIDDEN. Violence, drug-use and cursing should be kept at a minimum.

The Hunger Games

• When a character goes into the Hunger Games, all threads they were in before must be paused or ended.
  
  
• Dead characters are dead characters. No exceptions.
  
  
• If you think something is unfaair to your character, don't hesitate to PM the head gamemaker. Just have good reasons.

  • If you're having a bad day, my advice is to keep clear off the board. We don't want or need unnecessary fights. This is a place to have fun.
    
    
  • We would also appreciate if you don't spend your whole time on the c-box, keep in mind that you are here to Roleplay and it's not nice to keep others waiting for a long time.
