The kit's ears twitched. Her head lifted from her nest.
"Mommy? Did you hear that?" The kit murmured, fear edging into her voice.
"Hear what Daisykit?" Her mother muttered back, her voice still sleepy. "Go back to sleep."
Daisykit refused to do what her mother asked and padded out of the nursery. There it was! The noise again.
In a swift movement the kit was gone.
The first out of many.

Cats have started disappearing. Vanishing without a trace. It started with kits and apprentices, but gradually warriors have started going too. Who's responsible? Who don't the clans know about? A large, powerful rogue group called Deadly Nightshade. The steal the cats in attempt to take over the forest. Will they succeed? An inevitable war is looming in the future... Lives will be taken, dreams will be crushed and hopes will be shattered.
