Appearance:

Mona has long, light brown hair and long eyelashes. She keeps her hair in a tight ponytail, and even then it reaches her waist. Her mouth is a smile line, and her lips barely seeable. She has sea-green eyes with grey specks on them, giving the impression of a bay.


Mona is very short for her age, and very skinny to. She is naturly small, and is often sent to go into small places to retrieve things, lost and dropped. She has a medium-length neck, and tends to slouch in chairs. It herts her swimming to be short, but she can still swim pretty fastfor her length.
She hasn't started growing her "girl parts" yet, so she looks as though she is years younger than she really is, and hates it when people think she's younger. She is skinny enough to count her ribs, but when a shirt is over her she looks like any other District 4 citizen. She has a few fishing scars on her belly but nothing serious.

She has skinny legs, but they are long for her hight, and if it weren't for their longness she'd be short enough to pass as a 6-year-old. In total, she is 4'1".

Mona's feet are medium-arched, so there are no problems with finding a good shoe for her, unlike her father who had high-arch feet.

Personality:

Good Traits:
Mona is generally sweet with anyone, and cares to listen to peoples' worries. She'll sit silently for hours, just to listen to a person, then try to help them, lways trying to act it in their favor. She wants to be a people pleaser. She is very outgoing, and loves trying new things, but not dangerous things. Dangerous thig scare the bait outta her.

Bad Traits:
"Not one person in Panem is perfect."
Along with her good traits, Mona has bad traits to. She has a bit of a temper when provoked, and is a bit selfish around food. No, not a bit, VERY selfish around food, since she hardly ever gets it.

Loves/Likes:

Mona Loves to swim, read, and fish. She'll sit on the dock and fish for hours, or swim with her friends on warm afternoons in summer. And she loves getting lost in a book, especially one about pirates and adventures out on sea.

Hates/Dislikes

Mona is a clean person. She just is. Her biggest peeve is messy places. She prefers it when people actually wash off in the sea, or even(if they have the luxury) use processed water to fully clense themselves. Dirt on a body is just annoying to her, unless of course, it came after mud fight.

History:

Mona was born in a rough birth from the start. She came out a month early, and didn't even breath right. Luckily, the local docter was able to make sure no severe damage was caused. For the first few months of her life she was watched closely though. Then she turned 2.

When she was 2, she began to take to the water, splashing and gurgling bubbles. Every night she had to be pulled away screaming. Not that she was different, it was like habit to all the children in District 4.

When she turned 6, she lost her mother in a very bad sea storm, knocking the boat over. She kept asking "Where's mommy?" and everyone just kept their mouths shut.

When she turned 8, she became friends with many new people, some een being 3 years older than her. She began to love making new firneds, and would talk to anyone who bothered to listen.

When Mona turned 10, she began harder work, such as going out on the crawfish boat with her friends, with only a few adults present. They used to take some of the crawfish, calling it "pay" but just wound up with a death threat, penalty for stealing.
